Senior Vice President of Human Resources

Margaret Lewis joined Safeguard’s executive management team in 2006, with more than 20 years of experience in human resources. In her role at Safeguard, Margaret’s overall mission is to align our employee base with our strategic business priorities. With this goal in mind, Margaret focuses on recruitment and talent development, compensation and benefits, compliance issues and employee relations.

Margaret’s experience includes management roles in a number of industries, including manufacturing, distribution and service. A graduate of State University College at Brockport (Brockport, NY), Margaret holds a Bachelor of Science degree, as well as a certificate in Human Resources Management and Development from New York University. Margaret has also earned a Senior Professional of Human Resources designation from the Society of Human Resources, the highest level of designation available in the industry.
