We know that our customers want to know the conditions of our Safeguard Self Storage facilities in the New Orleans area. We want to provide information, but assessments have not been completed as of yet due to the wide spread power outage.

Store managers are on site, but phones are not working. No one is allowed into the storage areas inside the buildings until electricity is restored. If you are in need of storage, we are accepting reservations online and will contact you when we are able to reopen safely.

Thank you for your patience. We will provide additional information as soon as it is available.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Ida, all 6 of our New Orleans area Safeguard Self Storage facilities remain closed. As everyone has probably heard, there is no electricity in the area and it is difficult to travel around. Our operations team is in the field trying to assess the condition of our buildings. As soon as we have any information to share, we will do so on this page. Please check often, as we will post all new information as soon as we receive it.

Our main concern is for the safety of our customers and our team members. Please do not attempt to travel to any of our locations. You will not be allowed on the property until power is restored. We will contact existing customers through email as soon as it is safe for everyone to access the facilities.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
