Yes, this Safeguard Self Storage location has storage for vehicles, but only storage garages for vehicle storage. The vehicle height cannot exceed 6.5-feet, as the door openings are approximately 6.5-feet high. If you have a larger vehicle or are looking for outdoor vehicle storage, our location at 930 Grand Street in the East Williamsburg section of Brooklyn has outdoor parking spaces in a completely enclosed, well-lit parking lot. Access to this area is computer-controlled, which limits entry to only our customers who have rented spaces in this area.

How wide are storage unit doors?
There are two standard storage unit doors, the swing door and the roll-up door. Most of the smaller units—such as lockers that range from 5′ x 5′ to 5′ x 10’—will have either swing doors or roll-up doors, which both have about a 3-foot opening. For larger units—such as 10′ x 10′, 10′ x 15′, 10′ x 20′, and bigger—they will have roll-up doors that have about an 8-foot opening.
Do storage units have electrical outlets?
Storage units are not built with electrical outlets, but that doesn’t mean one can’t be added based on your needs. After you pay for installing the outlet, electricity can be provided to your storage space for a small monthly fee.
