Does your East Rockaway storage facility have room for vehicles?
Yes, at Safeguard Self Storage in East Rockaway, we have a completely fenced parking area for storage of cars, trucks, boats, and RVs. The size of the parking spaces is 10′ x 20′, so the vehicle you are storing would have to fit within these dimensions. The area is well lit and access is computer-controlled, which limits entry to only our customers who have rented spaces in this area.

All the storage units inside our East Rockaway facility are air-conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter. Generally, there is no minimum length of stay. Rental agreements are month-to-month, so there’s no commitment to stay longer than you need to.

Yes, customers can just walk in and rent a storage space at our East Rockaway facility, although it is always good to call ahead to make sure the storage unit you need is available. While we have a wide variety of storage unit sizes in our facility, there are times when our most popular sizes fill up. Even if that is the case, we will do our best to find the ideal solution for your storage needs.

Most of the smaller units—such as lockers that range from 5′ x 5′ to 5′ x 10’—will have either swing doors or roll-up doors, which both have about a 3-foot opening. For larger units—such as 10′ x 10′, 10′ x 15′, 10′ x 20′, and bigger—they will have roll-up doors that have about an 8-foot opening.
Do your Nassau County storage units have electrical outlets?
Storage units are not built with electrical outlets, but that doesn’t mean one can’t be added based on your needs. After you pay for installing the outlet, electricity can be provided to your storage space for a small monthly fee.
