You Want To Use Every Possible Cubic Foot Of The Storage Unit, Not Just The Floor

The first thing you should put into storage is some thought. Think about what you will be storing, and how long you anticipate storing your items. Will it be large items or small items? Do you have a lot of boxes? What furniture will be placed in the storage space? Will you need regular access to certain items in the storage locker? All of these questions need to be answered before you can decide how much space you will need and where certain items should be placed inside the storage unit. Stacking items will save space, but what happens when you need to retrieve an item at the bottom of a stack? Getting a storage unit a size larger would allow an aisle in the center of the storage unit providing easy access to the items in the back, instead of climbing on top of items or having to take items out of the storage bin. Another option is to store your items in two smaller storage units, which would allow for easier access to all of your items. Ultimately, it’s your decision, so take the time to assess exactly what you will need. Please remember that our team of storage experts is ready, willing and able to help you identify what unit size and type best suites your unique storage needs.

Then stack items on top and place smaller items in the drawers. Need a place to put that book shelf? Use the shelves for boxes. Using all the available space is key to filling up this storage unit.
